The Little Learners School is located in Westcot Elementary School in the residential area of a British Properties, West Vancouver. Established in 1985, the school is owned and administered by Mrs. Teresa Cheevers who also teaches in the school.

Mrs. Cheevers trained in England and qualified at London University in 1976. She has a Certificate in Education from Coloma College, U.K. and a E.C.E. Supervisors Certificate from British Columbia. She is trained to teach children 3 years to 11 years, and has taught a variety of subjects across this age range and also at High School level.

The atmosphere of the school is happy and friendly, with small classes to ensure that the educational objectives are achieved and that individual tuition can be undertaken within the class. Traditional and modern methods of education are combined, using equipment such as computers, as well as more traditional teaching materials.

The Aim

To provide a place where learning is a lively and exciting adventure.
To provide an environment where the optional development of each child is achieved, through provision of educational play materials as well as the introduction of academic experiences.
To provide a positive introduction to school and learning and equip children academically, physically and socially to cope with the demands of any type of education which might follow.
